每年 4 月 26 日，我們都會(huì)慶祝世界知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)日，以了解知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán) (IP) 在鼓勵(lì)創(chuàng)新和創(chuàng)造力方面發(fā)揮的作用。2022年，我們認(rèn)識(shí)到年輕人在尋找向可持續(xù)未來(lái)過(guò)渡的更新、更佳解決方案時(shí)具有巨大潛力。

Innovative, energetic and creative minds arehelping to drive the changes we need to move to a more sustainable future.Discover how intellectual property rights can support the youth of tomorrow tocreate a better future.
This year the theme of World Intellectual Property Day2022 is “IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future” and celebratesyouth-led innovation and creativity.
The youth of today are an incredible and largely untappedsource of ingenuity and creativity. Their fresh perspectives, energy, curiosityand “can do” attitude, not to mention their hunger for a better future, arealready reshaping approaches and driving action for innovation and change.
World Intellectual Property Day 2022 is an opportunity foryoung people to find out how IP rights can support their goals, help transformtheir ideas into reality, generate income, create jobs and make a positiveimpact on the world around them. With IP rights, young people have access tosome of the key tools they need to advance their ambitions.
Throughout the campaign, young people will be able to gain abetter understanding of how the tools of the IP system – trademarks,design rights, copyright, patents, plant variety rights, geographicalindications, trade secrets and more – can support their ambitions tobuild a better future.
We also take a closer look at WIPO’s role in supportingnational and regional efforts to create a legal and policy environment foryoung inventors, creators and entrepreneurs to thrive.
Last year, we saw record levels of engagement in WorldIntellectual Property Day. With your help, World Intellectual Property Day 2022will reach new heights.

Gen Z and Millennials: thecreators of tomorrow
The youth of today are an incredible and largely untappedsource of creativity and ingenuity. There are around 1.8 billion young people(aged 24) in the world today. Ninety percent of them live in developingcountries. The proportion of young people (under 35) is set to increase in thecoming years. In all regions, young people are natural agents of change,carving pathways to a better future.
Millennials and Gen Z are change-makers; they are pragmatistsand are not afraid speak out and challenge the status quo. Today’s youth aredigital natives. They grew up in a connected world with mobile phones and theInternet, where the lines the physical and digital world is blurred. This hasshaped a generation that is arguably the most entrepreneurial, innovative andcreative yet.
Calling all young people, wherever your ambitions lie – thearts, science, technology – a creative and innovative mindset backed-up with IPrights will help you make a difference.So get involved in this year’s campaign and find out what IP can do for you.
For policymakers everywhere, we call on you to listen to the needsand concerns of young inventors, creators and entrepreneurs and to developpolicies and programs that nurture and support their endeavors to innovate fora better future.
Given the on-going COVID-related constraints, WorldIntellectual Property Day 2022 will be a hybrid campaign.
